Amazing.
So, the Golden Globes are cancelled… I know that the winners will be announced as part of a Newscast but, seriously, who’s going to pick up their award without a massive dig at the network giving them out? Lovely fun.
In more lovely news… Now, I love him, one of the best TV presenters ever and a man many want to be Prime Minister, Jeremy Clarkson doesn’t often say he is wrong. But today it happened. After the whole missing disks affair, by saying that no one could take money out of his account with that information, he published his bank account details in his column in a national paper… and now some anonymous smart alec has set up a £500 direct debit to Diabetes UK… from his account.
Clarkson has now changed his views on the whole affair, saying that “… we must go after the idiots who lost the discs and stick cocktail sticks in their eyes until they beg for mercy.”
Genius. At least it was a good charity and I encourage Clarkson to keep the direct debit going.
