Who Am I?

‘m generally a positive person except when I fall into a funk… of course, then everyone knows about it with the slamming of doors and the loud music and the flicking of channels really fast. I have lots of skills that are only really half skills as most of the time I haven’t a clue what I am doing. I am the kind of person that you would ask how to do something because I look confident and I will probably have a little bit of a clue but will lose it half way through, or because I have basically no patience I will end up doing myself… but, you know, I’m lovely… honest!

Happy New Year!, I’m so inept at keeping in touch with people at the moment and especially so seeing as I’m being a facebook recluse. Hope you had a good one, our son Joshua Dylan Swarbrick, was born on 17th Dec so he kept us busy over the holiday season. I should have explained that I do have you email address but I’ve switched over to the MacBook Pro and haven’t synced (I’m sure that’s not a word) my contacts yet.

I’m currently waiting, and have been for some time, for Macworld 08. I desparately need (read as ‘want’) a new Mac and I am waiting to see if a new Mac Mini comes out. From the rumours I’ve read, it’s not looking good so I’m preparing for dissapointment.

Adam Maughan’s getting married in February so we’re going for his stag doo in a couple of weeks - a weekend on a canal barge in Oxfordshire (very proper old chap).

Gotta go, Josh has just started crying and when he wants feeding he really lets you know about it.

    TTFN!

    Marc x

ps. next time I will have got my iShit together and got your email address off my old Mac.

Marc Swarbrick - the proud Daddy - as I live and breathe!

Although it in no way even remotely compares to the excitement of being able to type the words ‘our son’ (I am turning into a total girl as I read that - have I said congratulations yet?) I am quite excited about Job’s Keynote on Tuesday. I, too, want to see what specialness he is going to bring into our lives…

Next weekend I am taking my MacBook (can’t really write ‘baby’ there now can I?) for an overhaul and memory upgrade to the Apple Store in Manchester and this alone is thrilling me beyond all reason!

Canal barge stag do - how very ‘very’… It’s fantastic that he’s tying the knot. Pass on my congratulations.

Can’t stop smiling - am so happy for you - crying and all! Josh is so beautiful!

Bec, I’m already formulating some questions for our little interview experiment! I look forward to “talking” with you. Using the email address I posted above, would you mind dropping me a line just so I’ll have an email address to send my questions to? Thanks!
