Out Of My Tree

Okay, so next week (yay!) is coming a lot sooner than I thought it would be.  Does that make any sense?  Nope, not to me either (is that right – either? – sense being made?  No… But I am trying to come up with a definitive plan – am looking into booking a room for a few hours to get changed and try and make myself look beautiful presentable not like an X-Files monster.  I have now given my spare ticket away – I was going to do a video log today with the draw on it but… how do I put this?  I did not want to scare people.

I spent another day in front of the computer deliberately taking myself offline to avoid distractions… and then ended up spending most of the time watching ‘Two Guys and a Girl’ on YouTube.

And now while I am FULLY concentrating on writing this I am also delighting in the fact that my iPod is being updated for the first time in about a month.  I thought I had lost my USB cable but it was a mislaying… and now (hooray) I found it inside a half empty ream of paper.  What the hell it was doing in there I don’t know but shiny and fabulousness.  I can now load it up with Sing Along joy… and try not to embarrass myself too much.

I wandered over to Last FM for the first time in a while and it’s all changed – they have overhauled the… something or another and now there will be that period of getting used to it all again.

My cat woke me at 3am, 4:30am and then at 5:30am. Her timekeeping is getting more… annoying.  And I swear the rest of the family is wearing ear plugs, or has a higher tolerance for the wailing coming out of her, because they all denied hearing a thing last night. Am hoping for at least a few hours tonight.

I got sent an email asking me why I don’t reply to comments anymore.  I do… I just don’t send them out by email any more as I have one of those ‘Check the box for comments in your email.’ things; but I can start replying by email again – let me know what you would prefer?

Going to St. Annes tomorrow for a thing, have been promising myself a walk down by the beach for a while – really hoping two things – that it’s nice weather and that the town isn’t covered in kids.  I kind of know the kids will be there but I think this may be my last chance before the evil of Summer Holidays really kills the enjoyment of the rest of us.

I am having an incredibly bad self image day.  Doesn’t help that the new moisturiser I got has apparently decided to suck the moisture out of my skin making it dryer than before.  It’s like a desert here!  And I’m not sure but I’m fairly certain it’s responsible for the weird rash I’ve got between my fingers – bright red and sore as hell – tried taking a pic but… well, you try it.

That’s it for the time being – am going to sleep now in a vague attempt to get up at a reasonable time tomorrow – haha.
