It’s All In The Details

So, after yesterday’s excitement I was feeling pretty good - oh wait, don’t run!  I am still feeling good - bad past tense negative connotations thing! - and started to think about:

  • what mode of transport to use to get to London
  • whether to go on the day or the day before
  • what to do when I get there (other that meet the blogging genius that is Moobs for lunch!)
  • finding a cheap hotel for the day (to change in glam wear)
  • what to wear
  • what to take with me

and now I have a new ‘problem’

  • who to take to the première.

Yep, my baby brother works for the spawn of evil who cannot give him time off for this once in a lifetime event because… they are the spawn of evil.  So I have one ticket available.  Am offering it up to anyone who, well, really wants to go.  It’s on July 30th at Empire Cinema, Leicester Square, London. Any X-Files Fans out there?  Or anyone who just fancies glamming it up on the red carpet with me? Send me an email to redcarpetfun@outofmytree.co.uk or comment below by Monday 21st and then I’ll let the winner (otherwise known as the person who will have to put up with me dribbling on like a mad woman know.  Fair enough?  Excellent.

The sucky thing that happened today was that I received a letter telling me that my PCOS ‘treatment plan’ appointment has been put back (with no rhyme or reason) by the hospital until 22nd August - right, slap bang in the middle of the time me and my brother were going on a little camping trip to… a place as yet undecided.  Once again the curse of the trip strikes again! (To explain:  every single time we plan a trip something comes up to disrupt it.  Bum.

But, oh ho!  The post was also a source of joy, JOY I TELL YOU, in the form of a box.  A box, that once opened, revealed this magnificence!

The mug that I won during the 5th Blogiversary of the heavenly SJ arrived today… and I can tell you it holds a fine cup of coffee, and I felt like a total winner with it!  Thank you once again!
