If I keep saying it it will make sense. Nadal won. No, that doesn’t make sense. Rectal archaeology boy… won. Seriously, someone needs to buy him some cream or something.
Oh, poor Federer. He looked so broken at the end. In his cardigan. While Itchy Arse Man grinned like an idiot and clambered all over the court.
Federer lost.
And he has such great hair.

Oh well, at least that’s over for another year, maybe he’ll buy some new shorts with his 6 figure winnings?

I don’t know why you’re so shocked. It seemed to me that Nadal has been better than ever in recent weeks. He destroyed Federer in the French Open and then won at Queen’s impressively. I cheered myself up by turning over to watch Sam Stosur and Bob Bryan win the mixed doubles in the dark.

I wanted Fed to win too. I can’t abide all that “look at my biceps” stuff from Nadal (though it is slightly less appetite -destroying than when Murray does it).
Justice has been done however as no-one who sports a dodgy ponytail as Fed did deserved to take the record away from Bjorn and his magic underpants.

Penelope – Surely his sponsors should just give him a new pair… Ooo, unless he’s being sponsored by Anusol or similar!
yorksdevil – Nadal may have been playing better but Wimbledon is Federer’s tournament. And Nadal knocked Murray out therefore loyalty dictates supporting the other person… who has better hair… and isn’t orange… or annoying.
moobs – When Murray does it there is an intense urge in my to pat him on the head and tell him all the ways in which it is not attractive.
I, on the other hand, was really hoping someone would knock Pete Sampras and the caterpillar eyebrow off his pedestal!
