Those days when you will do anything to avoid doing a specific thing? That’s today. It’s not that I don’t want to post – it’s just that following a complete drubbing of another British representative in a sporting arena (Penelope does a much better post about the important issues surrounding this match) I have kind of lost energy and focus.
Finding out that one of those actors that always made me smile – Don S. Davis – had died, sucked quite a lot. That’s a stupid thing to say. Of course it sucks. I remember you when you were Scully’s dad before those many many years scolding O’Neill and threatening to resign week after week on Stargate. I wish I could be more eloquent but not so much, no. Rest In Peace.
THEN, following Dave’s shocking nudity on Karl’s site it reminded me that I, in a brief moment of thinking ‘I am fantastic me’ agreed that I would be one of the guest posters on the Summer of Love. Date for the diary, people? 24th July. I have an idea I am playing with but this along with at least twenty others will be rejected before I come up with something worthy. At least I have ‘popped my guest-posting cherry‘ already. I don’t think it went too badly… Thanks again for that, Kevin!
The guest posting saga gets slightly more nerve wrecking for me when I remember that on August 3rd I will be whoring myself out (maybe literally) on It’s Me… Penelope… I may just be out of the 24/07 shock coma by then!
So, that’s another one of the reasons you’re not getting a post tonight – I’m saving spare neurons for looking good on much better sites than this, k?

Okay, so I’m not the only one with a few concerns about guest posting at both Karl’s and Penelope’s. Why do I fear I’m going to suck horribly?

Karl – Had it no been for SciFiWire I would never have known. He was the guy you’d want to play the father/grandfather is every film. He really was fantastic. Will miss him.
