A - Z Meme

Okay, so this little number has been done by Karl and Avitable so far as my eyes can see and I have spent too long fighting with other nonsense today to get on with writing things properly.  Going to bed now.  Yes, it s still light. The ABCs of Me

  • Accent: Estuary English dragged a little bit further up North - depending on my moodn - Saaffff London apples and pears pisstake geezer, or BBC news presenter.
  • Breakfast or no breakfast: Breakfast is coffee, more coffee and maybe a bit more coffee.
  • Chore I don’t care for: Ironing -  I hate it above even vacuuming.
  • Dog or Cat: Cat every time.
  • Essential Electronics: iPod, MacBook, and phone and digital camera… and TV… and cable box…
  • Favorite Cologne: Well, I’m changing this to perfume - again depending on mood CK Obsession, or CK Eternity… In fact anything from the CK range and I’m a bunny on speed.
  • Gold or Silver: Silver.  I look stupid wearing gold.
  • Handbag I carry most often: The one that fits my MacBook in it that cost £8 from  Asda.
  • Insomnia: If I fall asleep when it’s light I’ll wake up when it’s dark - that is the rule.  At the moment I’m more about the Hypersomnia
  • Job Title: Administrator, IT Champion and Office Geek
  • Kids: 99% of the time I don’t want one, 1% of the time I realise I’m never going to have one.  Which.  Is.  Perfectly.  Fine.  Generally though, because the world is messed up I like them up until the age of about 8 and then I think they should be locked in cages and fed only flat food.
  • Living Arrangements: I’m between houses… living with my parents.  Yes.  This is very sad.
  • Most Admirable Trait: Being tenacious to the point of insanity.
  • Naughtiest Childhood Behavior: Running away and frightening my parents by going missing for 8 hours.  I was hiding in the back garden and watched them going crazy.  The guilt has never stopped.
  • Overnight hospital stays: Adenoidectomy when I was about six.  Nothing exciting.
  • Phobias: Heights, spiders, the person on the outside of the window,
  • Quote: “I think of my own possibility. I think of the way it is wasted. The way it will always be wasted because I’m sitting here waiting for someone to love me as is.” - Elizabeth Wurtzel, Prozac Nation OR “Q: What animal would you be if you could be an animal?
A: You already are an animal”
    - Douglas Coupland
  • Reason to smile: Have you seen the sky lately?  Even when it’s cloudy it’s beautiful
  • Siblings: One.  Brother.  Adam.  Younger.  Fantastic.
  • Time I wake up: 6:30-8:00 AM, on weekdays.  10.00a.m. - 2.00p.m. weekends.  Depending on ‘In’ or ‘Hyper’
  • Unusual Talent or Skill: I can always pick out a harmony line, and can understand instruction manuals.
  • Vegetable I Refuse to Eat: Brussels Sprouts.
  • Worst Habit: Refusal to admit I’m wrong even in the face of overwhelming evidence.
  • X-rays: Left Foot, left leg, left wrist and chest.
  • Yummy Stuff: Marks and Spencers Double Chocolate Belgian Cheesecake OR Starbucks muffin.
  • Zoo Animal I Like Most: Penguin. Camel.  Penguin.  Camel.  Penmel.  Caguin.

  6. Avitable - Yes, the two humps and the waddling are strangely endearing!

Dan - Are you okay? I take it you are being sedated for the pain. It’ll all be okay. I’m not sure how, but I’m sure it will be.

yorksdevil - thank God (or rather Mozilla) for that!

Selma - Funnily enough today was quite the major coffee day - and the sky ran through it’s whole range of cloud cover -lovely!

Penelope - It feels really indulgent - but last night? Totally necessary. The accent at work all day was ‘calm and collected Zen master’ - didn’t work very well!

  8. martymankins - Penguins really are the… just the best creatures on earth. If it wasn’t ridiculously cruel I would love to have one just waddling about the house. Instant entertainment!
