A But Then… Post

Today was a bad day.

I had a whole breathing issue and a whole sweating like a whore in church affair and the tiredness! God damn! I spent pretty much the entire day trying to catch my… it was bad. I got a look of concern from my mother… which made me panic a little. She NEVER looks concerned! Lungs are clearer now, pain has gone… Google scared the ever living crap out of me.

It was not a good day.

Mild annoyances made me fill with rage and then I all but passed out.

But then… after having a slice of the Marks and Spencer’s orgasm inducing chocolate cheesecake… the lights came on.

Then Top Gear… something to watch on a Sunday! Finally!

And then - news - I won something! That’s when I began to smile - I really should have checked my linkbacks (or whatever they’re called) earlier.

God, I love Hilly… I’ve been listening to her show while typing this which is why this is so hopeless… It’s just too good! I really should have started this earlier… but this is… oh… my fingers have stopped working… And no get your minds out of the gutter. Not like that.

It’s funny (not for me) but I have gone from ready to jump anything to not even having a naughty thought in less than a month. I need to find something to get excited about.

Anyone got any ideas?

  1. Dry spells — even mentally — happen to all of us. You’ll get over it. I’m sure of that. But, for the time being, you can always visit a porn shop. Or enter Avitable’s latest contest. Should be enough, er, enticement there.

  2. Excitement eh? Hmmmm…
Not usually my problem, I’m a bit boy crazy. Although for purely scenic reason I am a fan of Oceans 13 (and Oceans 11.)

  3. Sorry you’re not feeling so good at the moment. It’ll pass. Yay for the contest win.
I also listen to Hilly’s radio show every week. Most enjoyable. Haven’t managed to listen to it live yet because of the time difference but I am working on it. Feel better.

  4. Yay for new Top Gear!! Wasn’t it pure brilliance last night? The kids and I were howling with laughter all the way through.
Congrats on winning a prize! Hope you feel less schlumpy soon! (Not sure if schlumpy is a real word but I like it.)

  5. kapgar - it’s such a bloody shame that I am useless wehn it comes to Avi’s contests! What a fantastic prize!

Nat - There is no shortage of eye candy (Mr Tennant every Saturday night in his tight tight suit will do for me!) But it’s just… not enough… I think that ol’ emotional core is getting in the way! (Doctor Who… nom nom nom.)

Selma - Hilly’s show is going to less regular! She broke the shocking news last night. (And thanks!)

Penelope - I love Richard Hammonds hair - I just want to mess it up for him - you just know they would all be great to go to the pub with! Schlumpy is so a word! Dictionary definition: Feels like elephant with hangover after no alcohol intake… which is me all over!

  6. Ooh, a massager. Although I don’t know if it’s meant to be used on your naughty bits.

  8. Dr Google is a scary, scary man. Whenever I go to see Dr. Google, he always diagnoses me with something awful that never materialises. He should be struck off.

  9. Avitable - There are some decisions you can only make when you have the item in your hand… but I think it looks more like a ‘that spot you just can’t reach on you back’ affair.

Blondefabulous - I’d get excited about that too… If I had any… I’d make the best aunt! Seriously! Can I hire someone to have my brother’s kids so I can be cool Aunt Bec?! Does anyone need an Aunt Bec?

Jo - Dr. Google really is a merchant of death, isn’t he?

  11. Hahaha, the massager can be used wherever you wanit. I use the one that *I* have on my lower back but you know, if I were in a desperate situation? Oh yeahhh, baby.

And thanks for the nice things you said about me!

  12. Kevin Spencer - That’s the way it works - the US sends us eye candy and joy, we send three grumpy middle aged blokes. And this series is longer than usual!

Hilly - Desparate situation? I have those quite often… but my lower back needs work too!

I could say more nice things about you, there could be a post there… Hmmm… that’s an idea… ;)
