That’s the grand total of time in which I have been awake for today. SO I could write about the fact that I woke up, ate some not terribly tasty soup and then gazed into space while people talked to me or I could write about something completely different.
Big Brother 978 started yesterday and 5.4million people watched it.
WHY?!?!?
Of all the horrible horrible things on tv – this is one of the worst. Not just because it is no longer the stick normal people in a house and see what happens joy it used to be but is now about sticking 16 (yes, count ‘em 16) ‘Freaks’ in a house and torturing them… meaning it is no longer interesting to watch. Just annoying. And this year they’ve even put a couple in there who, by their own admission, like to ‘bonk everyday’. If people wanted to watch amateur porn they can get it free on the internet over and over and over!
I’m so very glad though that it’s still on Channel 4 meaning I can avoid the whole channel for the next 13 weeks and just watch the odd few things that I like on 4oD…
Yes, this is a very whiny post but it has been sunny for almost the entire week I have been stuck in here. I have been turning steadily whiter and whiter while others have been gardening. Sigh.
I can’t wait to feel better!

The thing that sucks about Big Brother is exactly what you said….can’t they just stop adding stupid twists to the show and let it be how it used to be? Also, how about some fat people? LOL. Why does everyone have to be a hard body?

Hilly – They have at least one ‘larger than supermodel’ person in ours each year – they are usually first out or are the most annoying people who insist on getting naked (which is fine but the BB lighting does nothing for even the tightest of tightness) or insist on being everyone’s best friend – which of course means they won’t win or place second but a ‘awwww – well done’ congratulatory third .
This year it’s all big boobs and tiny tiny brains.
