Yes, so I danced and drank (not a whole lot – I mean, yes, there was some mixing in there but there were non-alcoholic drinks too) I swear it was the Corona that killed me… I don’t think I embarrassed myself too badly… The shimmying to Love Shack may have been a little too vigorous but hey, my boobs didn’t pop out of my dress so no harm, no foul, right?
So I had a day of watching catch up TV on my plate. I watch Doctor Who from last night and all I can say to the end of that episode is gimme gimme gimme more! Seven (well six now) days really is too long to wait for the next episode! And then it was just House and Criminal Minds (which reminds me – someone said I reminded them of Penelope Garcia – not looks – just the way I am. That person is now on my favourite’s list!) set up as a continuous gazing at the magic box affair.
And then the phone rang… With a request I go and sort out someone’s wireless. Yes, I could have said no but the idea of leaving the house for a reason felt useful so I didn’t hav to say that I just slobbed around today. So I pulled on real clothes and put my MacBook in it’s protective case of joy and did the geek thing. The best thing? When I got back there was Chinese food! Yay!
So, because I am having the post alcohol tiredness I am being lazy and so it is Stealin’ a Meme-Type-Thing time! (Insert cheesy intro music). And this week’s special ‘Stealee’ is the too gorgeous to look at directly Lady Penelope (yes, you do have to curtsey when you speak yo her and NEVER show her your back!) from the wonderful It’s Me… Penelope who had a much better reason for being tired!
- 1. What time did you get up this morning? 9:15 for about 2 minutes and then the next time was about a quarter to two this afternoon.

- 4. What is your favorite TV show? Hmmm… At the moment? Toss up between House, Doctor Who and Battlestar Galactica… Or Brothers and Sisters, Criminal Minds, Lost, Grey’s Anatomy – when you say favourite, what do you mean?
- 5. What do you usually have for breakfast? Coffee. Venti. To go.
- 6. What is your middle name? Through a series of incidences I don’t have one. It was supposed to be Lisa.
- 7. What food do you dislike? Rhubarb, Gooseberries, Sprouts, and Salmon
- 8. What is your favorite CD at the moment? Led Zeppelin -Mothership
- 9. What kind of car do you drive? I don’t. In my dreams it’s an Aston Martin DB9
- 10. What is your favorite sandwich? Marks and Spencers New York Deli Pastrami Sandwich

- 13. If you could go anywhere in the world on vacation, where would you go? USA baby. The whole enchilada.
- 14. Favorite brand of clothing? Artificial Duck – is that enough ass-kissing?
- 15. Where would you retire to? Either the US where I could sit on a porch growing old and crotchety or in a cottage on the South Coast of England.
- 16. What was your most recent memorable birthday? My 21st – all others since have been memory-less. Why? I just truly remember being happy.
- 17. Favorite sport to watch? I have to second Penelope on this. Rugby .
- 18. Furthest place you are sending this? Out into the world – I think the furthest person who reads this is Selma in Oz?
- 19. Are you a morning person or a night person? Oh definitely night – mornings is when I remember my teenage grunting days.
- 20. What is your shoe size? I wear either a 5 or a 6 (UK size) depending on style but my feet has recently shrunk just enough so I can’t wear a favourite pair of heels anymore!
- 21. Pets? 1 cat – the bane of my life, and my child substitute.
- 22. What did you want to be when you were little? I alternated between wanting to be a singer, an actreess, a fireperson and an accountant.
- 23. How are you today? Y’know, fine. Tired but feeling better than I have been.

- 26. What is a day on the calendar you are looking forward to? 21st June – Mayoral Coffee Morning – raising money gives me a little buzz!

Iron Man, coffee, Coke Classic…. but I got to disagree on your name. I think your real name is actually pretty cool. Of course, my fiance’s name is Rebecca (she goes by Reba), so there’s some bias there, but the flow of your name is nice. It does have a professional feel to it. So Rebecca Bennett by day, Bec at night….. almost superhero like.
Of course, now I’m liking the Bec At Night moniker.
