Missed
I got up very very late today, wrote new scouty lyrics (which suck badly) to Nickelback’s Rockstar, wrote a first sentence to a new story, watched some TV and then had a mild panic when I went back to my Mac and couldn’t switch it on…
Battery not charged. Took me 20 minutes to figure that out.
The cat fell asleep on me for an hour, then yawned and walked off - nice to be used.
Trying to figure out what was wrong today and I’ve just figured it out.
I missed Doctor Who.
Thank God for iPlayer.
I’ve just started recording the new season (which is a season behind from you) here, and Amy and I will be watching them this week.

Bec:
I can clearly identify with your computer woes. Every time I have a problem with mine I freak out. Ironically, I always find out what’s wrong and quickly correct it. Then I look back in retrospect how my anxiety drove me nuts and probably cost me 20 minutes in finding the problem.
Actually, I’ve never been one for patience when it comes to anything mechanical or technical. They are clearly not my strong suits.

You should just be thankful the cat lets you live in its house.

Avitable - If you have Donna it means you are on the same season. His hair gets more insane. Donna is not as annoying as I first thought she would be.
Glenn - Normally I’m so very patient when it comes to computers but just recently I am losing that. Probably because the computers I am using at work are hopelessly substandard… grumble whinge…
yorksdevil - and I worship and adore at her paws thanking her everyday!

I love cats. So snuggly and so dismissive at the same time. I’ve done the same thing myself with my computer but actually called the service centre. It was a definite dumb blonde moment. The serviceman thought I was an idiot!

Selma - I called our helpdesk at work once for a colleagues laptop - when he told to check to see if it was plugged in I snorted and said something along the lines of ‘how stupid do you think I am?’ Apparently ‘quite’ was the answer!
