I am like you, Bec, when I go to the doctor I find myself making flippant, jokey remarks all over the place. The last time I had a blood test I said :"At least I know it's red." And when I had a pap smear I just had to say:"You're not seeing me from my best side." Why do I do that? It's so embarrassing.
