No One Has To Die At 30!

Posted by bec on Apr 10, 2008 in Family, Friends, Headspace |

Yes. I have been through Carousel and have arrived in the new world.

30s

It was a perfect quiet birthday. Work was wonderful - the lovely lovely people I work with got me a new phone

MOTO KRZR K1

and embarrassed me thoroughly.

Home was peaceful and lovely and full of cake and wrapping paper and things.

Birthday Cake

New camera joy which I will get the hang of…

Daffodils in Winckley Square

and flowers and… things.

Roses

A day spent smiling makes Bec a tired girl. Bed now. Day off tomorrow.

Thank you for the e-cards, messages, emails, pokes tweets and comments. I love you all. You make it all worthwhile.

Sounds wonderful. I know for me 30 marked the beginning of so many beautiful and wonderful things. I wish you the same.

Happy (belated now) Birthday.

yorksdevil - Yes, thank you, peaceful, quiet, one might say boring… but with no drama!

Hilly - It really really was.

Nat - Thank you for the good wishes. Beauty and wonder is the name of the game for me… well, for my aspirations anyway!

Penelope - Yes, a guide is what I need! But if I start liking gardening shows shoot me!

Dan - Thank you, that’s exactly what I wanted to hear! I have a tea-cosy ready to wear on my head while I yell at squirrels for no reason at all!

Jo - M&S Chocolate Decadence. Buy. Sit in dark corner with fork and eat. Goes well with vanilla ice cream too!

Avitable - Old. Yes. Heading towards knitting patterns and finding buying a new tea towel exciting!

Was it Robert Smith from The Cure who thought he was going to die at 30? I think he’s in his 40s now. Ha ha.

So glad you had a wonderful day. Great phone. You’ve got some lovely friends there. And as for the cake - mmmmmmmhmmmmm.

Happy belated birthday. And I’m happy nobody has to die at 30 or I’ve somehow cheated death for three years.

Just a piece of advice: Bringing up Logan’s Run is a definite sign of age …
