yorksdevil - Sounds like the idea that Stephen Fry had when he was a guest on 101 called Room Lovely. I'll have to listen in!

Avitable - That's what I meant - blowing smoke in kid's faces. See, this is another prime example of bad blogging when tired thing.

Midd Britt - Didn't mean to cause offense. I meant the people that blow smoke in their kid's faces. They are the ones I would lock in a dark room. Need to blog when not tired! heh, when am I not tired these days?

And crocs - oh yes, banished. My mum wears them around the house... I hate the look, feel and rubbery smell. There's no point to them. Holey bastards.

I was going to say what Avitable said, actually. Do I care about my kids? Of course. Do I know it's dangerous? Um, yeah. That's why I do it outside, etc.

And if I could quit today without a fear of sliding back into depression already (a common side effect for women who quit) - I would.

It's called an addiction for a reason. :-)

As for what I would put in room 101...

Crocs. Without a doubt. Those fugly ass shoes need to die.

I don't mind cigarettes in public places, and I know people who have kids who smoke, but not in the kids' faces (Britt, for example).

But I agree with your first two!

There's a new radio show on Radio 4 with Bill Bailey that is sort of the opposite of Room 101. It's set in an imaginary museum where guests have to submit things they want to go in as exhibits. The first show had Brian Blessed and an Australian paleontologist who had funny stories.
