Ah, the almost too beautiful to look directly at Hilly has repeated last year’s success with launching another Self Love Day! Right, the ‘rules’:
1.) Grab a banner. If you don’t like the one I’ve used in this post, you can find another one here.
2.) Post that banner and with it tell us all something that you really like love about yourself (thus, the “self-love” portion of our program).
3.) Ask or beg your readers to post one thing that they too love about you!!! If your blog friends are nice, you shouldn’t have to beg…much.
4.) Stop by and let Hilly know you did it.
So, what the devil do I love about myself? I read my entry for last year and I still agree with all that. I still don’t need the validation to keep doing what I do.
And that’s what I love about myself. That I am still standing, that after all the crap that has happened in my life I am still able to get out of bed and face each day. Yes, sometimes it is hard and sometimes I just want to wallow in misery but I keep going. I keep helping those I can help and giving my time, and knowledge, and self because I believe we should help as much as we can every day. I like that if I know something and you need to know I will help you with it; and if I don’t know I will do my damnedest to find out. I love that after all this time there is still no quit in me!
