I think it depends when you do the bag pack. I did from 8.30am to 2.00pm on Christmas eve. We really did get buckets full. My back was absolutely done in. I find peoples reactions to the buckets funny, some pretend it isn't there and bustle in quickly and grab the carriers. Some make a show of digging deep and having nothing. Others are so generous even though all you packed was a tin of beans and a loaf. One lady went to get some money out for the scouts. Thanks, people of kirkham for your generosity.
