So last night after I published my post I realised I’d left the wrong title on it and got quite upset. I was going to use the word ‘deletia’ as the title for a post that was about something… that I can’t remember now… but now it is out there and I can’t get it back.
Speaking of out there, tonight at midnight GMT, NASA will play The Beatles’ tune ‘Across the Universe’ directly into space (the first tune ever to have this honour bestowed upon it) in an attempt to draw in an invading party. NASA have decided that they want a space battle with lasers and squadrons of space shuttles blowing shit up, in an attempt to increase their budget and get people to notice them. They were trying for another Jerry Bruckheimer advert film but couldn’t find anyone around to write it for them, so this is the latest stunt.
Now, I’m all for stunts but couldn’t they have found a better song? Steppenwolf’s Magic Carpet Ride or Louis Armstrong’s We Have All The Time In The World or, who knows… you have any ideas?
Yes, this is a short one but I stayed up vert late last night to wait for Lost to download. Watched it at 4am. Oh, that was a bit good!

I tend to change my posts about twenty times after pressing the publish button. Or does that not work when people read through feeders?

Did you pass the time by watching the Superbowl?
Music to broadcast across space? Anything by Hawkwind. I guess it would probably be ‘Master of the Universe’.

Hah, I am just like Dan. I have no idea why I can’t proof it beforehand. I love the word “deletia” btw..

Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds would have been a better Beatles choice. Spaced out all the way!

Dan - depends whether or not you’ve got it set up to automatically ping the feedreaders or not. I have discovered that I have. And now I can’t be bothered to change it. Hence all the typos!
yorksdevil - no, far more post-modern or something. I passed the time watched people Twitter about watching the superbowl. Mmmm, I think that’s spelled T-R-A-G-I-C. Master of the Universe? Yes, that would have definitely brought the invasion force here faster!
Hilly - Proof-reading is for the weak… or for those without midnight fast approaching! Deletia is one of those words I have re-discovred in my Douglas Coupland-extravaganza. I will have to write that post as some point. When I’ve caught up on some sleep. haha.
Kimberley - oh, it was a bit good. I love Hurley-centric eps. At least with this series you can never get so far behind that it can’t be wiped out in an evening!
Jo - Yes, you see?! And I bet you thought that straight away without a huge staff and planning facilities!
