I’m not ‘boring’. I’m English.
Thanks…
First up a big thank you to the commenters and emailers over the very stressful period of the ‘changing of the look’. It did drive me under my desk a number of times but until my CSS book arrives to enable to sort out the IE issuews this is the way it’s staying… for now…
Smiles all round, clink of champagne glass (or coke can) on a job well down, cautious smugness ensues.

I just checked it out in both browsers. Dang, what a bummer! Why can’t the internet gods come up with a language that translates smoothly in ANY browser?
I’ve come to the conclusion that all my problems are related to the limited functionality of the template I chose & modified. If only I wasn’t so happy with The Write Coast’s look …

Hey Bec…the new look is really nice. Of course, I use Firefox so that’s the only browser I’m viewing through. Can’t speak for IE. One little thing…the calendar in the sidebar? There are dark red numbers and then very light grey numbers? The grey is almost invisible. Maybe something a little bit darker? Love the new header.

Now get some sleep!

For me content is much more important than style anyway, but the grey on brown does not show up very good. On myspace I had the task of finding colours that show up on both black and light blue, having chosen my background pic.

SJ – I love The Write Coasts’s look, but then I love CL’s look as well and… sigh… when will people learn that IE sucks?
Karl – On it!
Moobs – Sleep? What is this thing you call sleep? I know passing out… is that the same thing?
Rick – I agree about the content thing – I just have to work on that now… Black and light blue – you know how to make things difficult for yourself don’t you!

Well I decided to use an inverted pic of me wearing an orange t-shirt in front of a white wall – thus blue and black.

The black font in the comments is much better.
