Thanks to Rick for tagging me. Can I be released into the wild now?
Okay…
6 Weird Things About Me
1. I fractured my left wrist after proving how ‘great’ my dance skills were, but hates hospitals so much I decided to live with the pain and the swelling and not get it seen to. Because of that I have a ledge-like bump where the bone fused crooked.
2. I am obsessed with the Peters Projection World Map.
3. I roleplay, and have only been doing it for just over a year. All of the players I know have been doing it seen teendom
4. I have to have music playing or the TV on when I sleep. I cannot sleep without it and wake up if it stops.
5. I love going for walks in the rain, but it has to be raining so hard it is bouncing off the pavement.
6. I’m allergic to raspberries. Come on, that’s weird!

So if I ever see a woman running through a monsoon being pursued by a raspberry there’s a decent chance that it is you.
Yep. That’ll be me. Looking at my list it’s not all that weird but I know this is going to be one of those memes that plays on my mind… I may return to it…
No. 4, wow that really is weird!
Yep, and annoying too. When I stay over at my parent’s house I have to use my walkman with headphones as they are the type that requires complete silence. Of course, headphones come out when you sleep, so I wake up a lot there…
The Peter’s Projection isn’t quite as strange as the map projection I am obsessed with… The Up-Side Down Map. Once you realize that there is no “up” in space, it’s a very liberating point of view!
I can understand needing music or TV to fall asleep, but I’ve never heard of anyone who wakes up the second it shuts off. Yeah, that’s weird.
Dave2 – I LOVE The Upside Down Map! The first time I saw it was, yes, The West Wing, and it was a total revelation. I had never realised how my opinions could be changed by something as simple as rotating a piece of paper 180 degrees!
Kevin -… and, oh so annoying. I always know when the power goes off. And it’s yet another reason why I have stopped using Windows Media Player!
