So before the horror of tomorrow arrives and all the annoying hearts and flowers appear everywhere I thought I would turn my mind to thoughts of [tag]love[/tag].
Yes, I am not currently in a relationship. A single la la la lady am I. But that does not mean love is not in my heart.
I still have hope. I can still feel the rush and rise in my soul when I hear a song that expresses the joy and pain of love.
I have been listening to a little country [tag]music[/tag] today. Faith Hill – This Kiss. It’s immensely cheesy but I love it. I was singing along full pelt until I remembered other people were in… and awake.
Fun (for me obviously… not them).
So here is a selection of the songs on my soundtrack for tomorrow:
Joni Mitchell – A Case Of you
Barenaked Ladies – Call And Answer
Bryan Adams – Everything I Do (I Do It For You)
Faith Hill – This Kiss
Damien Rice – The Blower’s Daughter
Jeff Buckley – Lover, You Should Have Come Over
Otis Redding – Cigarettes And Coffee
Peter Salett – Heart Of Mine
Reef – Lullaby
Tom Waits – Please, Call Me Baby
I have the wine and the music ready, I have soppy film (Keeping The Faith) on standby. I have my weapons against misery tomorrow and I expect I shall be online the rest of the night… or killing things on LOTR. No doubt returning to this subject again on my blog…
Please call me baby, wherever you are…
